You know PG, I refuse to change my way of thinking. No matter what. I know from experience( as do you) that one can be successful and live well without resorting to trickery. I want to scream: “PEOPLE, stop it. You are NOT pretty!”

Since this is such a serious topic…let me inject something for a smile. If you were are a Monty Python fan…when I wrote”trickery” above I thought of “shrubbery”. Could be a funny skit using my word!

Back to serious: Here is the sad thing. The misogynistic and smoke-and- mirrors industry I (joyfully)left about a year ago has had many movies made using it as a setting for the story. One movie in particular was more upsetting than others (if that’s possible) because of the blatant and offensive greed .

Yet when I pointed this out at cocktail parties or whatever, I received blank stares. Also words that implied something like “ Geez, I wish I could do that and make the same money that the guy(“crook”, my word) did in the movie.

Sigh.

And…I am not dissing money nor success, no question we enjoy what this permits us to do, enjoy and accomplish. I just do NOT believe one has to trick and swindle to get there. Plus the shallowness and disregard for others that is attached to success(money) at all costs makes for a mess of a world.

Hello!
