You are right, the real agenda is not concern for the fetus.

It is first and foremost about controlling women ( putting them in their “place” as defined by a belief, religious or other, not shared by a majority) and it is about growing the population to power the machines of industry ultimately making the 1% richer.

Oh and also using the fervor whipped up in the voting base to advance political careers and agendas which at the end of the day lead to control and money.
