Aside from being a capital place to dump, writing on Medium is a terrific way to hone your craft. Think of it as a practice ground that will help enhance your other pursuits, whether they be Substack newsletters, novels, or screenplays — more personal projects. I had this head-slapping moment a while back and it made perfect sense to me.
