Oh btw. You are so right on the frozen pie crust. I raved and raved once about a friend’s pie crust skills until his wife poked him and said: Tell her, Ralph. Turns out it was a frozen deep dish pie crust, top and bottom. He is originally from Montreal. Tourtiere is his speciality on the savoury. Banana cream on the sweet.
