Where have you been Rosemary Payne😀 I wish we had met earlier. We are exactly on the same page.

I love and related to your entire article, my new friend. I almost highlighted the entire thing.

Then the part I excerpted above. Oh yes. I have been saying that forever. The little things, all that stuff they tell us to ignore…those small annoyances DO add up to something huge and sinister.

( they meaning way too many people from everywhere: men, women, bosses, colleagues, parents, friends…ARGH)

So Rosemary. If you are going to start a pub(please do). How about starting two? The one you were planning and another that looks for writers to submit articles/fiction/poems addressing all those “little things”. Yes, it would be specialized but also different from the other awesome pubs for and about women.

And very much needed. All those little things we are told to “ hush up and stop getting our knickers in a knot over” because …you know…they are such little things in the grand scheme. ( Scheme of what? Keeping women in “their place”? Hogwash.)

Instead, the premise of your pub would argue that all those teeny weeny snowballs made up of belittling things said about or done to women are responsible for the colossal snow boulder that now sits at the bottom of hill number one. Ready to roll down hill number two and catch up another million snowballs. Then hill number three and and and…

It is so interesting( and depressing)…all the ways a segment of humanity tries to silence women.

Oops. I have overstayed my comment time! Sorry not sorry. There is so much to be done.( I already have submissions in mind to submit to your pub!)
