How did we get so messed up when the trauma (and worse) done to the victim takes a back seat to protecting the perpetrator? Oh wait, it has ALWAYS been this way.

I just don’t get it, and frankly never did… why. am I less of a person because I have 2 legs not three? Oh oh wait again. The caveMAN set that precedent. As society progressed from there we somehow forgot to stop whacking women on their heads and pulling them by their hair over the cave dirt floor.

And don’t get me started on all the other groups of humans that have been wronged…
