Two Firsts: Vive la France and man-O-man, Dim. Excellent piece. Story telling extraordinaire. A whole bunch of new info. Thank you, Saucy says, tipping her beret. (Hmmm, do berets tip?)
Second: The temples to Steak frites. In Paris and lots of cities where the only thing served is salad, two back-to-back servings of steak frites and dessert. All at a prix-fixe.
Le Relais de l’Entrecote is one of many.
My question. Their secret sauce recipe is closely guarded. One can buy facsimile jars of it on gourmet websites. I’d like to make my own. Might you include in your series(love this concept) a Dim take on the secret sauce? There are some on the internet, but a Dimitized ( from Saucy’s dictionary) one would be excellent! Butter yes, but so much more
Third: Love your steak frites photo. Made me so hungry. And it isn’t noon yet!
Fourth: Vive Côte de Boeuf.
And as Linda writes, rib-eye makes my sun shine.
