Thank you for writing this, Ramona. What I highlighted above and what you wrote in the essay reminds me of the industry I worked in for many years. In the upper levels ( where I was positioned) there were almost no women, but of course on the secretarial side there were tons.

In the upper level, 97% of that small group of women executives were so happy to be included that they mimicked everything the men did, simply to retain their positions. It is sad really. And destructive to society. Not to mention how it builds taller walls to keep women out and to further pit women against women.
