Thank you for writing this, Charlotte. I am so pleased with her victory. I am beyond excited for what this means. She is a credit to women everywhere regardless of skin color.

I believe the day will come when we ALL are treated and respected as equal people. Color of skin, gender, religion, sexual preference, size of wallet, age, language, place of residence, type of work performed, other categories…none of these will be grounds for any discrimination and abuse.

Kamala Harris will play a huge role in blazing that trail. She has done so already. Even before the nomination.
