Terrific piece, Elle. And oh yeah, the number of men and women out there still insisting that it is all better. “Suck it up and move on,” they say.

I walked from a 20+ year career in another industry ( not Medicine or tech) and I waved bye-bye because I couldn’t take the misogyny and gaslighting anymore. I had to endure a huge economic price to do this, but as I look at myself today I know it was totally worth it.

The thing is, I should never have been put in that place where I felt there was no option except to make the quit decision. I was damn good at what I did. My results had me in the top 10-15%. Yet none of that mattered because of my gender.
