Good morning Stephanie and first things first.

Thank you so much for the follow and of course I reciprocated. I cannot wait( unh? Note expression?) to read more from you.

Next. Before I reply to this A+++ article of yours, here’s the thing. I should know better than to write anything before the morning caffeine hits. Yet look at me, no sip yet and foggy brain/typing a note to you. In fact, the earlier comment from me that you read…guess what? Yup. No coffee.

All this to say that I read what I wrote and said: WTF? That is not my best writing. The no coffee/get sloppy syndrome. 😳

So I am saying sorry, not to massage my note’s tone( but I agree with you, so what if that was my intention!) I’m saying it as it is: sorry. Hey, pretty funny that my earlier response to you was a wish that we both were drinking coffee and shooting the breeze together!

Re your essay. Oh yes. True, so very true. All of it. I am so tired of all the messages (directly and indirectly) thrown at women and preaching pathways to success by …not being female. Women need to push back at this. Hard.

I have countless experiences in the workplace where various women tried to clone a man’s behaviour. To the point where they actually believed they were one of the boys. ( The boys absolutely didn’t agree.) Some of the disastrous fallouts from this: these women never supported/included/mentored/promoted female colleagues.

Tons of work to do.

Off to get that cuppa now👍🙂
