Yup. You are 1000% correct. True rather than fake confidence in either partner wins the day. It’s beautiful and really works when both meet and continue at that level.

The secret sauce, I think, is to both meet when at that same level of achieved self confidence. Tricky but doable.

I know this first hand. It took awhile, much trying, fun times sure but lots and lots of pain. Refusing to give up, I finally got there on my own for my own confidence. Then and only then was I able to see that in my current partner.

And so, we zing. We fit in each other’s grooves. Like an old fashioned LP and a brand new stylus. Or as John Legend sings: we love our perfect imperfections.
