I think you would be impressed with the number and quality of dinners and events I organized in the past. Thing is they were as I said: a bonding event tied to my business( although we never discussed business at these times!)
Today I am so concerned…worried, actually, about the Trump era divisions between people. Including the lack of openness to search out respected news services and rely only on things like Facebook etc to get info supporting one view only.
I think one real dent in this mess can be made if more of us repeated your idea with dinners. By more of us I mean many more! Did you say there is a national or international organized movement to support and foster the dinner and convo idea of yours?
I hear what you say about Zoom. You are right. I have an overwhelming urge right now, thanks to your article and to my past, to find a way to maybe use zoom AND add in some other hook. Something around food because of the nurturing qualities involved. Yet I can appreciate what you said in your last reply of how food with your Zoom did not work.
