Oh yes, Michael. My first thought. In college, my sister and I were craving a dish our Mom’s Aunt Dot made. She called it simply ”Spaghetti and Hamburg”. (Dot was born in Germany so maybe she named it after a city there instead of the meat..hard to say!:-)

When we finally had chance over the holidays to once more eat her creation, we were shocked watching her make it. Out came a container of Crisco shortening. Yes really. And I can not tell you how much of that can she scooped into the dish. Mountains!

Yikes! We did not remember that part.
