Oh Elle. I feel awful for you. This was such a horrible thing to experience. You are right, it is almost impossible to believe that people like this exist. Yet as you say and know: they do.

Your other point is well made too about how people scammed by these individuals blame themselves on some level. My friend, I think humans do that only because they cannot believe others would be so dishonorable.

Bottome line: it could happen to anyone. Be good and kind to yourself and eventually rest easier. These awful scammers are NOT the majority. But I know you know that.🥰🥰👍
