Mike, if I could send you a million claps, I would do so in a second. (well, that would take longer than a second, but I would gladly spend that time!) What an absolutely excellent article.

Let me say, if all daughters had a Dad like you( your daughters are SO lucky); if all students had a teacher like you( yup, your students are SO lucky); if the world had more people thinking, saying, doing what you describe in your article( luckily we DO have lots of “Mikes”, we need more)… well then, I guess the planet’s issues and problems would be well on the road to extinction.

I will also add that I am convinced that my early rise this morning and lack of a good sleep last night is a result of a deadly combo of hot, hot summer weather and a decadent and totally delicious dark, dark chocolate dessert I enjoyed at a fairly-late-on-a-weekday dinner party on Tuesday. Here’s the thing, I am scrolling MEDIUM because it’s too early to get up and I am wide awake! That’s how I found you and this dynamite article.

So then…new plan for me: chocolate every night if I end up reading more articles of this caliber.
