I believe almost every woman has a story or two about some type of sexual abuse and/or very, very inappropriate behavior. That is what is so upsetting about all this. We have been taught to keep it quiet because, what? Maybe you did something wrong, maybe it wasn’t that big a deal, maybe you read it wrong, who would believe you anyways, everyone loves what’s-his-name…a litany of reasons putting the pressure on the woman to hide her own horrible ( and most likely buried) experience.

#MeToo is timely, necessary and not there for any guy to shut it down because it makes him uncomfortable.

#Me too among many things, allows women to finally talk about something that happened maybe 20 or 30 years ago, because until #MeToo, those experiences just surfaced in numerous sleepless nights and nightmares. What part of this is ok? None of it.
