Maybe, just maybe…these little crawling creatures are much smarter than we think. I mean maybe they were on the glass admiring the reflections of the leaves. Artistic thoughts and all.

Then again, maybe they are dumber than we think and believed the leaves reflected in the window glass were real! Oh dear, the little thangs must have been so disappointed if they started munching!
