Lanu. Hi. I cannot tell you how much I like your beautifully written and thoughtful poem.

You gave me words to express a unique (for me) discovery. I am a committed big city girl. Yet in the last while I have been hiding from the pandemic(ha, fat chance!) and living at my partner’s house in the burbs of a smaller city.

There are so many squirrels and rabbits running around. I love it! I spend too much time( is it ever too much?) gazing in awe at the little critters as they go about their daily business. My observations fill me with a peace of soul and mind, not witnessed by me before living here.

So thank you. Your poem explains. The truth of your words are squirrelled away( pardon the pun) in my heart.🙏😍
