The part I highlighted above( although as you know I did highlight many parts) that above part really, really spoke to me.

I made a tough decision recently to leave a well known industry that refuses to recognize the value of women. One senior executive talked often about his two daughters. But not in the laudable context you write in your post. Sadly.

Basically he looked forward to their futures being tied to a type of misogynistic guy, just like all the ones he worked with. Sigh.
