I understand what you say, Paul. I have been in such a funk lately, because none of this “mess”sustains a world that values people. No matter the color of skin, gender, sexual/partner preference, religion, age, residence, language, wealth or lack of, etc

I had this funny but timely piece ready to post. And I couldn’t. It seemed trite given current circumstances. So I shelved it. Wrote the scary poem I posted today and another waiting in the wings for tomorrow.

Maybe this is me working through all this. But who knows. And what good does it do?

Would love to know what you think of my angst poem” The Danger in Stopping”

You might like the one I shelved, but I’m guessing its on a mood relatedtime out for now. And by then the topic might be dated.

On the other hand, last night at dinner MSZ stopped short, looked me in the eye and said ( as he has before) “You make the best dargone mashed potaoes I ever, EVER tasted” So maybe I will, in a day or so, write about Mashed Potato Love. Comic relief and a good recipe might just be what the doctor ordered.

AND…getting back to the dynamite story you and Sharon have written…
