I always thought that too. But now the gloves are off and we have to do something because we cannot just “take it” Plus what starts in the US will filter into other free countries.
If you watch any series streaming on Netflix etc, the one to watch is Tehran.( Glen Close , such an excellent actress, stars in the second season)

It is chilling to watch life for everyone in this situation but especially women under an authoritarian regime.

And then to look at what is going on now that we are discussing.

It is so ironic to watch over the years American foreign policy condemn the lack of human rights in these regimes and now trying to put these current events in place at home.
I do not understand why rank and file supporters think that somehow life like this would be enjoyable and better than democracy and equality for all humans
