This is such an excellent and relevant poem.

I have such a “good guy” vibe about you, Tony. Another reason why you would find the subject matter in your poem so tough . The thing is, as many will say, there are so many out there truly flirting and “putting on the moves” while calling it “friendly”. This is such a tragedy because the good ones, you for instance, get painted with the same brush.

Insecurity builds in an individual because of repeated past experiences and as a result, of course, hinders a relationship. On a bunch of levels, all this needs addressing, understanding, learning and moving beyond and above. It is a huge task, my friend. One reason why the professionals are so busy in therapeutic situations.
