Thank you for this story. I really enjoyed it. Am on a late morning train to the city and trying to catch up on some Medium reading.

Since I am new to this platform, I hope it’s ok to ask you this: Do you find Medium to be a worthwhile site for posting fiction? Short stories. Longer stories in numerous instalments.

I am on purpose only reading and commenting for awhile before I get into the meat of posting my own work. I let loose 4 little poemy things at first, but want some time to savour all the writing and writers before I do more.

I don’t see a lot of attention( claps, comments) on fiction pieces vs advice and opinion posts.

Any thoughts you would like to share will be most appreciated.

I will say that 2000% I am so happy I found Medium. It is an absolute treat.
