Hi KiKi. Fabulous prompt. I am dying to tell my Dr. Duke story. Are your prompts open for any date or is this one just for the month of June?

I ask only because I have been mostly absent from Medium since last September. A giant family crisis ate up 23 hours of every day. It appears to be subsiding so hopefully before June ends, I will be back and active. If not, my recovery of those 23 daily hours will happen in July or August. Crazy, huh, how time can be eaten up by heavy stuff like this.

I also need to apply to be a writer at the Memoirist. Will you please direct me to a post explaining your application procedure?

My medium contact is @suzannevtanner. A heads up: please don’t judge my writing by the little I wrote since September 2022. I did write 2 decent poems for Scrittura during the period but the rest were my weak attempts to at the least maintain a bit of a presence. Sigh.
