I totally get where you are coming from and I don’t like the 2 alternatives either . Many don’t.

However, I do worry for the world, actually, if the MAGAs win in November. They are very clear about what they plan to do .

IMHO, I think the time to build acceptable alternatives is between elections, between any election actually. Then the third or fourth alternative or whatever ( now established much more so) has a much better chance of winning.

If one introduces third or more choices only at critical times, research has demonstrated that all that happens is votes are siphoned from one of the two main offerings and the other of the two win. That is a scary prospect for 2025 and on.
