I agree, good points on Vocal in Burk's piece.

The issue of canonical links has me stumped ( particularly since I am not a techie) Question:

1. Sounds like you feel canonical links. are not an issue re posts going from a blog(eg WordPress) to Vocal or vice versa?

2. My most important question: Even if only possibly there was an issue, couldn't someone get around it by never republishing the exact same piece( eg: change the title, subtitle, all images, maybe a bit of the text(maybe)?

So many of us post the identical or similar( similar as in what I say in the paragraph above) articles on both Vocal and Medium. I always attatch a disclaimer at the bottom about a version being elsewhere, with a link to it.

So this stuff in my #2 I am particularly interested in your feedback.

3. May I request that you write a Medium piece around these questions? With(for the non techies) an explanation of canonical links. Please tag me or let me know so I won't miss it.
