Hey Gillian Sisley a quick note before calling it a day( and then some). It is my pleasure to comment to you as I did earlier. Your writing has ignited something in me, that well…I thought was already burning brightly.

After first accidentally finding Medium and then joining and posting four little ol’ tiny sorta safe poems, I made a decision. I wanted to step back and soak up reading and learning about this incredible site before I posted any more.

My intro poems made me feel..I guess…safe…in a world of public writing I hardly knew. Yet safe is not where I want to permanently dwell. There is so much to say, stories to tell, topics to explore.

Well. My stand back for now decision is working for me. I am loving it. The people. The ideas. The writing. The great vibes and the community. And the gems…so many, too many to mention by name. But if I tried, or if I could crowd with names, the number one spot on my list of talented Medium peeps, you Gillian and a host of others would be jammed into that numero uno slot. Just sayin’

So good night to you my new writing friend and I shall be reading more of your great stuff soon. And please never stop any of it. Especially what you are doing for women.

P.S. You know how they say( the good old “ they”) that there is always something good to be found in something bad? Well in the current world we find ourselves in( in the last threeish years) we women have had a reality lightning bolt shoved at our collective brains, souls and butts. Until this time we really really though we were so much further ahead in the “being treated as equal people” game of life. Well um no. Nada. And woman oh woman we gotta fix this.
