Hello, Tom. Wow...finally today, I wrote a post for The Shortform. Thank you for your patience. Since signing up as a writer for your pub I have had one distraction after another. Luckily( I think) that is all behind me now.

I want to say how happy I am to be here and today I have read some really interesting posts AND met some terrific new writers. Thank you for doing the work to make this pub happen.

On the note of this SF post of yours. I am so glad you all are fine now. Re the excerpt above: Absolutely, there is still so much unknown about covid.

A dear friend of mine, fully vaccinated, caught it a couple of months ago. She, like your wife, was quite sick. Today she is fine. Interestingly, her husband did not catch covid from her even though they did not isolate from each other. Another unknown, for certain.
