Hello there. You, Felicia C. Sullivan are frickin’ amazing. I love how you write. I love your brain. I am so impressed with the way you call it out. You are good. Good at what you do. You are accomplished, strong and brave. You kick ass, girl.

If there was a way to manufacture an essential oil ( think lemon, lavender, rosemary) but this one we call Felicia. And when using, say a shampoo infused with Felicia…well, my Medium friend, we would be writing fewer stories about the hurdles women face. Because all these wonderful characteristics of yours would just seep into us. Envelope us.

It would be sweet and probably save us several more centuries of wasted struggle time.

Alas. There is no secret elixir today. We do though, have you and your excellent pieces on Medium. And all the other ways one can work with you. All this IS something. Mega.

Just in case I am being too subtle, Felicia. 😍 I really do admire you. I feel very fortunate to have bumped into you on Medium.

This current excellent( again) article of yours. You were so fortunate to run into those wonderful supportive men you mention in the first three paragraphs. Then you introduce all those “others”. Yah, well. That was 100% my experience in the industry I just recently kicked to the curb after staying in it way, way too long. Better late than never, huh.

All I say now is: Let the new Chapter begin. Bring it on. SuzieV gotz herself a brand spankin’ new giant pair of shiny boxing gloves. Indestructible.

I hope there are tons of women out there who have experienced or will experience the supportive work guys. The type similar to your group, Felicia. Sadly I believe there are lots in my camp too. Where the total amount of support in a career from those men and many women = big fat zero.

Know this. Do I resent/regret this? If I said: No, of course you would be correct to say: Liar, liar pants on fire. I do however currently consider that resent/regret thing to be irrelevant. Today I am stronger because of it and determined to both support other woman AND make my Chapter Two earth shattering, gobsmacking, mind boggling, thunder and lightning, volcano erupting… successful. And then some.

You likey? Thank you again for all the inspiration.
