Hello Michelle. Very nice to eMeet you. I am so impressed with this article. The honesty. The call-it-like-it-is, because it IS.

And your baking hobby. Mine too. Well, cooking first and baking is more times in my head than in my kitchen. Having said that I am about to make a chocolate beer layer cake with dark chocolate fudge frosting. First time with the new feet…errrr…. recipe!

I’d prefer chocolate or vanilla Cream Cheese frosting but I am uncertain about the cream cheese flavour mixing with the beer taste( chocolate stout to be exact). If by any chance you see this comment today and would like to weigh in on my frosting dilemma, I will really REALLY appreciate it.

The recipe calls for a frosting made with a (from scratch) chocolate pudding but I am not down with that, for some reason. I think it’s because I don’t want to make the pudding. Ah ha. To your point about good bakers and good writers…I would NOT consider, even for a second, using instant pudding! Puddin’ in a box, nope, nope.

Re all your wonderful writing advice🙏🙏. So last April(ish) when I joined Medium and the MPP, I posted four little poems that I thought were “ safe” . I was, like many newbies, very nervous about posting anything. I cannot say that I am pleased with those four little things. I actually call them my milque toast entries😀

After number four, I was still freaking. That’s when I hit the brakes and decided to only read, comment, highlight and clap for a year. No more new original posts till the year is up. Learn and observe. Meet fantastic writers and people. Hello to you again.

I am sticking to it but not letting my insecurity force me to takedown the first four. Stay they will. Revamp and repost someday? Truthfully, I won’t say 100%: No. But very very most likely: No. I do agree with your points in your article.

Anyhoo…I am liking my plan. Grooving it actually. Plus the year is soon up. Yikes.

Happy new year to you Michelle.( I tried to @ you but cannot tell which Michelle Elizabeth is you)

Sorry because my comment is almost a friggin’ book. There was just so much I wanted to say.

I look forward to reading lots from you this next year.
