Hello Dennett.

First. Congrats on the birthday of your pub. Great job. I am thrilled to be one of your contributors.

Second. I love that you and Captain Argentina are both on Medium. You two give off wonderful energy. Just saying.

Third. Yup. It is hard. The way we lived our lives last year this time. Wow, even the freedoms we enjoyed at the beginning of 2020.The highlighted part above from your article, I totally agree. We have no idea what it looks like or when it will look even a bit different than it does right now.

I do know that as strong, resilient creatures, we will figure this out. And adapt.

Yet today. Just like you did about your event. I remember my all afternoon Sunday Italian lunch for 20 that I held in my backyard in June 2019. I knew that day that totally, I would do a repeat this June.

Nope. And like you, my eyes are watery.

Happy note. As I write to you, my sweetie, MSZ. ( Mr Suze, the amazing Linda Caroll gave him that name, then I abbreviated it even more) He is in the kitchen trying his hand at making barley bread. A yeast bread. He is just beginning this new hobby. Even though I get a “Can you come here for a moment?” call every 2.5 minutes…I smile brightly, stop typing my note to you, and skeddle to the kitchen for the next consult. Very cozy.
