Hello again Is Misé

I found this article through you. Thank you. I am so moved by Michelle Kelly and her courageous sharing about what happened. Also her resolve.

Society’s need to keep women in their place by going to whatever means necessary to silence them. It is absolutely mind boggling, the power of this attack. Whether it is Michelle telling her heart-ripping-out story or any other stories out there about sexual AND gender abuse of women; at one point or another all of these accounts are called lies. Everyone of them.

Just for a minute, let’s address women in general. Approximately 51% of the human population on this planet. Almost all of us have some sort of story we did or could tell about sexual abuse or life/career limiting gender discrimination. Many women have experiences in both. A lot of us can thank our lucky stars that our encounters are( were) not nearly as horrible and tragic as Michelle’s. Yet in this world, some are even worse.

So given the paragraph above, is it not our duty, we women, to point out, whenever and wherever we can, that these brave brave souls who speak up about these horrors and injustices are not all lying. Shouldn’t we emphasize that even if statistically speaking maybe(maybe) 5% are not all that they seem; given just how many women have had something happen to them…this bodes very well for 97% or more of those disclosed accounts to be truthful.

We have to speak up about this. We must. Even when some guys and also some women will not approve if we do. Always remember that those “disapprovers” have their own self serving reasons to try and shut us up.

On that last note: to those guys out there who do get it…and thankfully there are a whole bunch of you out there…please continue to join us in fighting the gaslighting and the silencing of your equal partners in humanity: women.
