As I was reading your excellent article this morning about giving birth like a Feminist, you sparked another idea in me. For an article.

I think it could fall under your THE OPEN BOOKSHELF publication’s category: Discussion and Opinion section. Its about an HBO television series that unfortunately(as far as I can see in searches) does not include an actual book. Not certain if that would be a problem for your pub.

The series is The New Pope( the follow up to The Young Pope) both starring Jude Law among others. I would not write about religion though. My take would be on the way women characters were handled in the series.

Both seasons were such creative and artistic productions on so many levels. Yet I was constantly dismayed and annoyed as I observed the roles for women in the show.

If I write and submit an article for your consideration for TOB, will the fact that it is not about a freestanding book automatically disqualify my piece?

BTW. I do understand that your pub is very new and in the building stages. It would be fun to be part of that growth. I am a huge reader of books as well as off-the-wall streamed video series! And movies.
