Ha ha, Thief. Good one and bet you will be surprised to hear this. Once upon a moon, I wrote a story (unpublished) about my interpretation of that Cohen song (Rufus Wainwright one of my fav versions). It was a 100% made up story, prompted by Cohen’s awesome lyrics.
