I have this idea haunting me right now that in the spirit of having fun amid all our serious troubles, I should host a virtual Gratin Dauphinois party. I could set up a channel on Slack only for that and all those wanting to play could weigh in there.

I’d start with sharing the idea and some recipes on Medium. Then set a date for the party and encourage dialogue on Slack both leading up to and the evening of.

Ultimately everyone creates their own menu and chooses their location for the special dinner but Gratin Dauphinois is the key player.
