Good morning Felicia C. Sullivan . This is another of your excellent, excellent articles. I clapped my heart out the other day for it and then had to run before I could write a comment.

Counterintuitive as it feels, it’s better most of the time not to defend yourself. Otherwise these people are literally taking your life.

Above is one of many parts I highlighted. Great advice.

As far as women speaking out. I constantly remember that when I hear negativity and hate comments directed my way, it is yet another way to get me to keep quiet. An attempt to silence me. To try and force me to slink to the sidelines. Be invisible. Be nice.

Another way to control us. And we are not buying that bull*** anymore.

So no, I won’t return the vitriol. I won’t respond. I refuse to even read the crap. And I ( we) don’t have to toughen up to remain online and/or true to ourselves. Because… we are already capable and strong.

Thanks for being there Felicia. For us and for you. Onward and upward.
