Good morning anette becher and Gillian Sisley

Preamble to my comments below: As Gillian knows, her article about the cab driver not guilty verdict really hit a nerve of mine. That and the fact that I passionately care about women’s rights and women as equally considered and treated human beings on this planet. That being said:

I just read Annette’s comment and this thought flashed in my mind:

I think we agree that basically the law supports this statement: being intoxicated means one is incapable of safely driving an automobile.

Then why oh why is intoxicated consent deemed to be the same as sober consent….

Oh oh I get it, she writes as her sarcasm rises to the surface, it’s about all those millions and millions and millions of intoxicated MALES who are sexually assaulted by women, when they get in taxis or walk home in the dark.

Those guys know that they shouldn’t be drinking, partying, flirting. Those guys know that they are “asking for it” because they wear short skirts and tops that are low cut. Those guys know that they should never have had sex with anyone else but a wife( after marriage). And then again, only to make a baby…

So see…Those reams of sexually assaulted men are not coming forward and reporting their woman perpetrator life trauma and body violation to the police and the courts. So clearly when female victims file an assault or rape charge, they are making shit up….

Or mayyyyyyy-be this is the explanation: Drunk drivers can damage property and kill people. Drunk women who are sexually assaulted experience a life threatening and sometimes terminal kind of death inside themselves, but hey…they are still walking.

Ugly isn’t it. And wrong.
