Excellent points, Leonora. Decade after decade these types of movies teach the same messages.

Like junk food, manufacturers keep the supply growing because the market buys it. Doesn't matter how unhealthy the product in both cases.

So we need the market to pay attention and not consume in order for Hollywood to stop. On the other hand, too much of humanity wants to believe there is a "free lunch" no matter if it is food or relationships.

Sigh.
