Little story: an “old, straight, white boy” former colleague of mine bragged any chance he got about his numerous sexual partners in addition to his wife and main girlfriend.

The industry we were in, not tech, was/is a bastion of male ego and privilege. Lots of guys bragged just like he did. It was a badge of honor, their body count.

Once, at an internal corporate dinner, when online dating was one of many conversation topics at the table, I spoke favorably about one site I knew. That same guy piped up and said “ Suze, I hope you don’t sleep with any of those guys you met on xxx .”
