There is no doubt that adverse conditions can sometimes hamper or even destroy someone’s progress. In my books it has always been about what one does in these situations.
I am in support of identifying one’s role in arriving at that point and then realizing that learning and solutions only truly come from within.
Even the toughest solutions need examining and selection of the best alternative. I have found that this sort of take charge path avoids complaining and feeling like a victim. It promotes growth and success.
One need not agree, support, or forgive the offending party. None of those three need even be considered when personal responsibility is harnessed. Ultimately the winner is the one finding positivity and taking control of one’s next steps.
