Elle, I could clap for you all night!

You are so right about what it does to them as they dig deep to find ways to bring us down. If you look carefully in their eyes( soul window) just after it happens, you can actually see the energy drain. Trouble is that one is always so furious( or stunned to blankness) when it happens that seeing the toll it took on their souls is an after thought, at best.

But you know, I want that better world you point out, because YES! it will be better and wonderful when people respect people. Period. Gender, race, religion, geography, income, language, disabilities, age, sexual orientation, ( did I forget anything?)none of it will matter. We just be peeps.

Part of me wants to tell you a “ put that broad in her place” story of when, early in my recently self-ditched career, when I was one of maybe two women at a National conference. Yet the other part of me wants to move on( because there are SO many effing stories) and say..ask…what are five things we all could do in the next 12 months to lead into making it all better. Don’t need to be big things either.

…but it is a good “ uh huh” story :)
