This is a really good article. Hits the nail on the head, to quote a relevant expression.

I find that some days are better than others. Sunday, for some reason, was in the not-so-good category. No idea why. In these times it doesn’t need a why.

I fantasized about my partner and I having dinner with 2 super friends. It would be comforting among other things. Of course we did not do that. We are taking all the precautions seriously. But the fact that we couldn’t, made it all the more difficult. We were used to grabbing some sort of ‘marshmallows’ at the first sign of neediness.

It is going to be a challenge to say the least. If some predictions are correct and this virus sticks around for years. We won’t need short term coping strategies. We will need to revise the way we permanently live. Ow!

For now though, I am letting myself think only short term!

Nice to run into you again on Linda’s article. Hope to be in touch soon before too long. You have a list of posts I look forward to reading. Hopefully I have a few gems in mine for your perusal.
