Ahhh Elle. Elle Beau. I absolutely love your writing, your topics and most of all your brain. Thank you for so many terrific and thought provoking reads. This one too. I highlighted about half the article.

I just might…might…have a theory to explain what happened re this particular one of your breastest articles. ( awwwwe. couldn’t help myself, you are the breastest!…lame, I know..grade 5 humor …see below..)

Your click-n-see vs read rate on the boob article reminded me of a conversation I heard at a women in business conference. At lunchtime a group of boomers at my table were discussing grade school years ( I think they referred to the 60’s/ early 70’s)

Their point was about the boob centric nature of the boys in their grade 5 classroom. Most of the girls were boobless at that age but that was not the issue. From drawing breast pictures, finding them in Sears catalogues and (you name it) elsewhere. Giggles and obsession reigned. The more boob images the better.

So there you have it Elle. The motivation to stare at pics of tits rather than participate in a needed and important philosophical discussion. I guess some behaviours of grade five students translate perfectly to adulthood. I am tempted to say especially for the baby boomer aged crowd. But no, I realize that it is everywhere. Proof: my lame joke above😀

Yet your points are SO important, Elle. Please never stop writing the way you do and about what you do… women’s issues, variances in relationships, sex, power, society…all of it

You do know that I am conceptually a member of your board of directors as we work to rid women of all the life limiting rules, harassments, abuse and expectations. So that one half of the human population can be treated as equally as the other half. All as equal PEOPLE.
