This was a flash fiction comedy piece I submitted to another competition(not Vocal). I must be into punishment or something. Once again, my story bombed. Like I said to another friend yesterday: this being in the bottom half of my class is not what I am used to! LOL.
P.S. I cannot say I like writing comedy but the contest had you sign up first and then provided the genre and a couple of prompts. At least it wasn’t’ t historical fiction, I told myself.
PPS. Ha. This gave me a great idea. I will continue this contest binge for awhile yet and then write a Medium post titled: I entered 689 Writing Contests and This Is How Much Money I Made.
